After nine events held since the end of 2021, Vinexposium reinforces its main annual events while continuing to develop its business in promising markets. On the agenda: 9 physical events in the next 12 months for the wine and spirits trade in the international arena and a stronger desire than ever to be the global interlocutor of the entire sector.

The group is thus preparing to support export activities among producers and buyers around the world through a calendar of events segmented by consumer markets.

Main protagonists

La World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE), the first flagship event on the calendar, will bring together bulk wine professionals in Amsterdam on 21 and 22 November and will feature bulk spirits, rice distillates, brandy, tequila, bourbon, rum and many others that will strengthen their international position alongside bulk wines of all categories, including premium, PDO, generous, fortified and non-alcoholic wines in large volumes.

Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, the first major international event of 2023, will be held from 13 to 15 February at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with a large participation of the main international players together with all the French wine regions.

On March 8 and 9, 2023, the focus will be on New York on the group’s two events dedicated to the North American market: Vinexpo America and Drinks America. The first appointment will be reserved for wines, while the second will accommodate all alcoholic beverages, including spirits.

Finally, from May 23 to 25, 2023, Vinexposium will make a strong return to the Asia-Pacific region with Vinexpo Asia, which will be held over three days at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore’s iconic convention center. More than 1,000 exhibitors are expected to attend to take advantage of the regional commercial momentum.

News and innovations

Based on its four main events, Vinexposium continues to position its brands by continents to reach the main players in the distribution sector and accompany its customers in emerging markets.

The success of the first editions of Vinexpo India, held together with SIAL India, has made this event one of the most anticipated by Indian professionals. Thus, Vinexpo India will be held again from December 1 to 3 in New Delhi and will cover the North Indian market, an area with more than 366 million consumers.

Vinexposium will also open the way for its customers to enter another market of great potential, with Vinexpo Meetings in South Korea from 4 to 6 October 2023. The Vinexpo Meetings format consists of a highly qualified business convention dedicated exclusively to buyers from the region. Each participant will have previously confirmed their purchase intentions with a schedule of interviews validated in advance with the registered producers..

Vinexposium is also committed to offering tailor-made events, starting with a new International Symposium on 19 and 20 June 2023 in Bordeaux. Building on the success of the 2022 edition, which brought together professionals from 17 different countries, the Symposium aims to be an opportunity for professionals in the sector to reflect on the issues that affect them, in a series of debates aimed at the future of wine and spirits.

The group also resumes its travels to discover the production regions and will organize the 4th chapter of Vinexpo Explorer from September 17 to 20, 2023 in the Quebec region. This new episode will be the first dedicated to spirits and will put Quebec’s microdistilleries in the spotlight. Reserved for a selection of international buyers, Vinexpo Explorer will contribute to establishing new business relationships between the large invited buyers and the Quebec spirits producers who will host the event through an extensive program of tastings, visits to micro-distilleries, social events and business meetings.

“Vinexposium’s new calendar of events allows us to bet heavily on the future, both through our main events, which constitute the pillars of our activity, and through each meeting created in emerging consumer areas”, says Rodolphe Lameyse, CEO of Vinexposium.

“I congratulate the Vinexposium group for this solid program of events and its efforts to renew and strengthen itself by offering essential business meetings for the growth of the wine and spirits industry in the reference markets at an international level,”

Christophe Navarre, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinexposium.
