Sweets (Afternoon Tea) - Low Res

Conceptualised by Executive Pastry Chef Herve Potus for the Valley Wing’s new suite turndown amenities is a menu of six indulgent treats. Guaranteed to give guests a sweet surprise are kueh lapis cake, a Singapore signature, which is infused with citrus and fragrant osmanthus flowers; homemade marshmallow with elderflower essence; Valrhona Opalys chocolate dip; as well as an adult version of cookies and milk with cookie sticks.
The talents of Chef Christophe Moret, who helms the two-Michelin starred L’Abeille at Shangri-La Hotel, Paris, were enlisted to develop the Valley Wing’s culinary offerings. Each dish reflects authentic Parisian cuisine from a four-minute boiled egg with caviar and croutons or duck foie gras and corn omelette for breakfast, to Chef Moret’s signature rich chocolate marble cake at afternoon tea, to delicate evening canapés.
“The Valley Wing Experience was designed in line with the changing times and to ensure we remain relevant to travellers who have evolving needs and preferences,” said Reto Klauser, vice president / general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. “Delivering a truly luxurious and bespoke experience remains our top priority and, with that in mind, we have enhanced key aspects of the Valley Wing ranging from the Michelin two-starred chef-curated afternoon tea menu, evening cocktail delicacies to the turndown menu that guests can select from.”
