Comité Champagne to present their new 360° film experience at Vinexpo Hong Kong 2016 next week.

The Comité Champagne, the representative body uniting all Champagne houses and growers (www.Champagne.com) will present their new and entertaining 360° film experience, a pioneering international communications campaign, “showing all the treasures this fascinating French wine region has to offer”.

The 360° film makes the Champagne region accessible for each and every one, wherever they are in the world, giving a unique insight into how the exceptional magic of Champagne’s terroir and Champagne’s producer’s know-how interact to create the unparalleled wine that is Champagne.

The fascinating short movie allows spectators to literally dive into the hillsides, houses and cellars of Champagne, thanks to the 360° filming technique, offering a virtual visit of the region and showcasing some of the elements that make Champagne unique.”

The movie is available on www.360.champagne.fr and can be watched on a smartphone, tablet or PC, or in 3D using a pair of Google Cardboard goggles or a virtual reality headset.

About the Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars – A UNESCO World heritage site

The Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars have been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in recognition of their “exceptional universal value” in July 2015.

This recognition honours the unique terroir and “cultural landscape” of this French wine growing region, as well as the exceptional know-how of its producers and the world-renowned and incomparable wine to which all of the above give birth: Champagne.

In a broader sense, the UNESCO classification recognizes all the work done to produce, make and publicize Champagne wine that was passed down the generations and preserved in the 320 AOC Champagne villages located in the five French departments of Marne, Aube, Aisne, Haute-Marne and Seine-et-Marne.
