3. OLIVER!

The new production at the Theatre Royal. Drury Lane promises to be even more spectacular than ever before, starring Rowan Atkinson as Fagin, a cast and orchestra of over one hundred and an exciting new Nancy and Oliver. Rupert Goold (Best Director, 2008 Olivier Awards), will be restaging Sam Mendes acclaimed production, and along with Tony award winning director and choreographer Matthew Bourne will be using every inch of London’s greatest musical stage with even more sensational sets by Anthony Ward.

The other is beautiful, ambitious and very, very popular. “Wicked” is the story of these two unlikely friends and how they end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

7. WE WILL ROCK YOU

This is a real fun, sensational Musical Comedy. Rock band Queen joins forces with writer Ben Elton to bring their unique sound to theatreland. Set in the future when musical instruments have been banned, it’s up to a group of anarchists, The Bohemians, to rediscover Rock. The sets are amazing, it features over 30 of Queens most famous hits and the cast is fantastic.

8. LES MISERABLES

This international award-winning musical sweeps its audience through an epic tale of passion and destruction, against the backdrop of a nation in the grip of revolution. A spectacular adaptation of Victor Hugo’s masterpiece, it continues to thrill audiences night after night. Concerns love and bravery in 19th century France during the revolutionary struggles. Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, music by Claude-Michel Schonberg with original text by Alain Boublil and additional material by James Fenton.

9. CHICAGO

10. BILLY ELLIOT: THE MUSICAL

Acclaimed adaptation of the popular British film, Billy Elliot, the musical features music by Elton John. It’s the moving story of a motherless boy whose father wants him to take up boxing. Instead, the boy falls in love with ballet and fights to prove his doubters wrong.
